No. SOS Educ is designed for people who work with children, not IT specialists. If you can send a text message, you can use SOS Educ.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your information and families' information is encrypted, meaning scrambled, while it travels and while it's stored, on servers located in Canada: without authorized access, it stays unreadable. The most sensitive details, such as an identification number, are scrambled a second time. SOS Educ is designed around the requirements of Quebec's Law 25. We never store your credit card numbers: payments are handled by Stripe, a specialized payment service.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. SOS Educ is optimized for mobile and works on iPhone and Android. You can look up a child's file, emergency contacts or allergies directly from your phone, without complex installation.

Is there a commitment or minimum period?

Plans are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose, and the commitment matches that cycle. Pay-per-use billing for the Per unit plan is monthly. If you cancel within the first 14 days of your subscription, you get a full refund. After that, no refund is issued: you keep access until the end of the period already paid.

What is the difference between support levels?

All plans include access to our team through the app's help center: you send a help request and follow our replies in one place. Standard support: response within 5 business days. Priority support (Per unit plan): your help requests are tagged "Priority help request" and handled first.

How does pay-per-use billing work?

With pay-per-use, your fee is calculated each month based on the number of children and colleagues active on your account. You only pay for what you actually use: if your facility grows, the price adjusts automatically. A single subscription can cover up to 500 children and 50 colleagues.

Can I manage several workplaces?

Yes. You can add other workplaces to your account and switch between them in the app. Each workplace has its own subscription, its own records and can display its own logo.

Can I manage my subscription myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's all done in the app: move to a bigger plan (charged right away, with the unused time on the old one credited to your account) or a smaller one (in effect at your next renewal), view your invoices, update your payment method and turn off automatic renewal.
